Delivery Reliability 2023, Questions and Answers
We are currently receiving regular inquiries about the availability and price development of our products. As traditional building materials become scarce and expensive, demand for products made from recycled residual mixed plastics is increasing significantly. Ensuring delivery reliability for our customers is important, and therefore good communication is key. That’s why we’re happy to address three frequently asked questions.
1) Why are products sometimes out of stock?
In 2021, our sales doubled, resulting in a large portion of our inventory being sold. We are working hard to replenish stocks, but unfortunately, we are experiencing longer lead times. Partly due to economic growth and the war in Ukraine, demand currently exceeds our supply.
Do you already know what you want to order for the last quarter of this year? Reserve products now so we can keep them in stock for you.
2) What will prices do?
Melting plastic waste requires electricity. And after production, the goods need to be transported. We are facing a significant increase in these costs. Over time, we will have to pass on these costs in the selling price. Products that are still in stock are sold at current prices. Do you expect to place an order in 2023? Order now and still benefit from current rates.
3) How will you optimize delivery reliability?
We are working on a plan to significantly scale up the capacity of our own production factory. For The Green Plastic Factory II, we are implementing a pre-order system. This means that regular customers can place stock orders and receive additional purchasing discounts with partial prepayment. We are doing our utmost to improve delivery reliability and control price development. Customers can assist us by making expected orders known in advance. This allows us to optimize procurement and production capacity. Together, we move forward.
