In the summer of 2018, De Dommel Water Board was busy redesigning the Groote Beerze water park in Hapert. For this project, Save Plastics supplied an 85-metre long decking. The deck was installed by Van Stipdonk Landscape Design.

What is special about this platform is that it’s flooded twice a year, so that the mowing boat can sail over it. The circular story behind the decking is also told during guided tours under the title “From plastic lunchbag to plastic decking”. This leads to enthusiastic reactions from visitors.

Commissioned by water board De Dommel, we delivered a new plastic decking. The platform is part of the refurbishment of the water park at the sewage treatment plant in Hapert.

The van Stipdonk company from Geldrop is currently putting the finishing touches to the decking. As soon as the decking is ready, this beautiful decking will be part of the walking network.
