Recycled plastic is the new building material of the 21st century. A raw material that is indestructible and therefore very environmentally friendly. The plastic waste is here, so we might as well use it. For over 30 years we have been using IEM technology (intrusion extrusion moulding) to melt used household waste plastic into usable products. The end result; products that are sustainable, do not break down and are as easy to process as wood. A logical choice for a sustainable future.

Our products are made of 100% household plastic waste (PP and PE) that is processed into a durable hard plastic. For example, they are extremely suitable for ground, road and hydraulic engineering, for example as sheet piling, bridges or houses. They meet European standards for building in the public space and are completely safe. Especially suitable for use on and near water and under the ground, because it can handle moisture well and can take a beating.

Plastic in nature sounds strange, but it is actually very environmentally friendly. It does not wear out, so no microplastics are released during use and everything is delivered prefab, so that no drilling or sawing is required. Disturbing nature as little as possible during construction is very important. A robust decking that does not become slippery and requires no maintenance and looks like wood. In addition, our products can be re-melted into new products after their useful life has expired. A circular solution for now and in the future. That makes us and our planet happy!

combine the best characteristics

Sometimes it is necessary to reinforce products, for example if they have to be used as under-beams for bridges or as purlins for a sheet pile wall. In that case, we put reinforcing steel in the molds and produce products that are sometimes up to 20 times stronger. Or we add fibers so that the products shrink and expand less. With our IEM technology we can see per project which reinforcement is needed for the ideal product in terms of lifespan and environmental performance.
